“We play for you, Valencia”
Cristhian Mosquera, Javi Guerra and Diego López will compete with Spain's Under-21 side
Reacting to a difficult result at El Sadar, Denis Cheryshev told VCF Media that the team have to put the loss to CA Osasuna behind them and turn their attention to the next fixture.
"I think that after their first goal we kept pushing and the equaliser came, but their second goal arrived very quickly afterwards. In the second half we started well, but as a result of the two penalties the game was an uphill battle and we were unable to react," he admitted.
"We're being penalised for our mistakes. I don't think that other sides are being far superior to us; I don't see it like that. I think that the games have been evenly matched. Maybe in phases of these recent games, in which we have conceded two goals each, we've been the better team, but have conceded because of lapses in concentration. That puts the games against us and hinders us."
"The good thing about playing every three days is that you don't have time to get yourself down. You have to focus on the next game. The next match is against Alavés, we are going to win and we are focused on that now," concluded the Russian.
